AMP Power Protection Acquired by Addtech
Effective as of April 1st 2025, AMP Power Protection will be a part of the Addtech Electrification division. The companies within Addtech Electrification provide battery solutions, energy-efficient power solutions, and now rugged uninterruptible power supplies, across various sectors and countries. Our offerings will contribute to the overall aim of Addtech Electrification, looking to move into a more safe and sustainable future. We will be continuing to develop technology as a part of the battery systems unit across the defence, marine, and transport sectors.
This is exciting news which was initiated as Addtech looked to expand within the electrical and battery sector and saw AMP Power Protection as a perfect fit, as a growing company in the UK. AMP Power Protection saw this as a great fit, as the network of Addtech companies provide further opportunities for collaboration and growth, while still operating independently. Our focus will remain on providing the best modified and custom UPS solutions for our customers, providing uninterruptible power to critical areas which need it most.
Joining the Celltech Group
As a result, we will be joining the Celltech Group, a global supplier and manufacturer of batteries which currently operates in nine countries and employs approximately 450 employees across Europe and Asia. Celltech supply a wide range of batteries, battery systems and power solutions. This acquisition bolsters the UK expansion of the Celltech Group, where we are joining Cell Pack Solutions, and Fairfield Solutions.
