AMP Power Protection have welcomed two new members of staff to the team as the company continues to expand, following our successful first year. 

Lisa Farthing joins us as our new Office Manager with over 8 years experience in the UPS industry. Lisa is Qualified CIPD Level 3 in Human Resources & IOSH Managing Safely – so her skills and experience will be a welcome addition as our team grows.

Lisa said on her new role:

“With over 8 years experience within the UPS industry as an HR and Health & Safety Advisor, I am really looking forward to joining a great team of people to help shape the company.”

Sam Sharp has also joined the AMP Power Protection team as Sub Contract Manufacturing Manager. Sam has 18 years manufacturing management experience across Automotive, Defence and Electronic sectors. Sam said:

“Over the past 18 years, I have worked in various manufacturing management roles, starting as a team leader in the Automotive Industry. I’ve spent time at Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and most recently Eaton Electric, so have gained experience across multiple sectors. I am thrilled to have joined AMP Power Protection during this time of growth and development for the business.

In my role, which is also new for the business, I hope to build and secure solid partnerships with our Sub Contract Manufacturers, to support the continued success and expansion of the AMP Group.” 

The AMP Group are delighted to welcome Lisa and Sam and look forward to working together as the company continues to grow.
